Process
Plans & Reports Development
- After signed approval of your proposal, a Preliminary Agreement is to be signed and a $1000.00 deposit is to be paid.
- You will be provided with a selections folder which you can use to choose colours, tapware, flooring, façade etc. for your home.
- If plans have not yet been developed, we will start the design process on your construction set and engineering plans. Upon completion, we will send you the plans for review and request you sign them to indicate they are satisfactory.
- We will send you an Owner’s Consent form and Construction Certificate Application form to be signed.
- After you have signed your plans, we will ask you to sign a DA Agreement and pay a further fee of $5600.00 which covers the costs of council submissions and our planning costs to date.
Submissions
- All necessary applications will be made to Hunter Water and Mines Subsidence Advisory.
- Approved plans, reports, and a Development Application will then be submitted to your local council. Council may request alterations/changes to your plans.
- Once plans are submitted to council, no further changes can be made to your plans.
- If applicable, we will lodge a driveway application with council.
